Chado Ralph Rucci went to the extremes for the fall collection – literally.
Every design was “extra” when it comes to showcasing the techniques that his clothing is so famously known for.
And I love it, such a great show.
Let’s dive in:
Opening look told you everything you needed to know. with its fetish inspired two iece leather skirt suit. The bound button holes and the organza and leather trim edge detail, just beautiful.
I love this bias cut skirt, but what is the shirt made out of, I looks like plastic.
The first cocoon coat, love the seams and the double shawl collar.
Second cocoon coat, I was wondering how the button were placed in look one and I guess this is how he did it. Great details.
I really like how he takes these simple dresses and give them a little edge with the cut outs that are backed with the sheer fabric.
More seams and exposed zipper, love the shape of the skirt of this dress.
I can’t even tell you the last time I’ve seen a pattern that comes with button loops as a design feature.
It’s interesting how suede shows up seam and topstitching lines so well. I like that its subtle color-blocking and its strategically placed so that the arms match the waistline exactly.
This is a laser cut out on the leather that is creating the look of scales, fascinating. Gosh I wish I could see that in person.
I like the collar design, how he added that embossed leather and then carried it through to the arms and waistline.
Wow, just stunning, this leather piecing work. The back is the same as the front.
What do you wear under a dress like this?
Someone was having a lot of fun right here.
This close up is amazing, just boggles my mind, how does it
do that?
At Last, a little metallic going on here, I love the midriff details, very beautiful.
I love the shape of this jacket, very slimming.
This is beautiful, great New Year celebration dress.
And this knit maxi, very pretty.
Sweater and statement skirt look again, just like this one.
I haven’t seen this silhouette as yet, the trumpet dress, so cute, love the color too.

I love look 14. The details on this dress is very subtle with the top stitching, raised seams on sleeve and the pleats near the hem of this "simple" knit dress.
