Milly, the brand, is designed for a younger demographic, so it may not apply to most of our style aesthetic but the details are absolutely worth looking at regardless.
I enjoyed this collection. So many sewing details, I can de-construct this one for days.
But I will leave you up to that if you like and just post a couple below.
This dress caught my attention immediately. I love the fabric for the skirt portion of this dress and the movement.
When I look at it I think of B5886, solid on the top and lined chiffon on the bottom.
I like the idea of a sheer fabric to give an illusion of a waistband. Make a regular sheath dress and add in a waistline effect using a strip of shear fabric. Good idea for M6699
As you saw in my last video, I was inspired by this dress, I love how the bias binding was used to accentuate the seams and curves of the dress. Its just a simple T-shirt dress, color blocked and outlined, I think M6355 would be a good place to start.
This jacket, according to the designer is a modern take on the traditional chanel jacket. Fascinating. Hmm, I wonder if she put the quilted lining and chain details in there as well.
I love how she did the colorblock details in mirror image and the use of the patent leather exposed zipper.
I like this look, I won't wear the pants but I would wear the jacket with some black skinny jeans, I love the use of the mesh with the tweed its very refreshing.
I love this dress, You can't see it from the photos but the hemline is cut so that the front is higher than the back.
I also like this jacket, its great for the spring and summer nights, it reminds me of this Escada one. Laser cut leather is trending in both the spring and the fall 2013 collections.
Check out the bias fabric placement on this body suit, the latest issue of Tread magazine did an article on bias pants. I thought, "Really?"
But seeing this version changed my mind, on the right body this is a killer designer look.
Clearly this sweetheart with shear bodice details is all over the spring runways, see here and here. M6460 View C has similar design lines.
Who needs a metallic pencil skirt? I do!
When I first saw this skirt I thought, Its the new leather skirt, I love it. I made a mental note that I need to get not only a metallic piece of fabric but one with stretch because I love the close fitted look. I can already see myself wearing a simple knit top, this skirt and a pair of ankle strap high heel sandals. Just gives me chills.

Oh boy, there is some nice stuff in this collection! I love the laser-cut leather jacket. I saw a jacket very similar to this at a clothing store last week. This is definitely something to sew.

Girl you are definitely a Fashionista!!!! I love your quote "it just gives me chills" LOL! These looks are pieces of art. Sometimes I don't really get a chance to take an up close look at designer fashion details. It's always great to know that I can get that fix by visiting your blog (wink)!
